Introduction about the film by Prof. Sehdev Kumar

This film is my personal reflection on the nature and expressions of Spiritual Quest as a Celestial Journey. The film draws upon my experiences as a wanderer in many cultures and many countries, in many deserts and in many caves, with some ups and many downs. And also with many faces and many masks: as a nuclear physicist, a historian of science and of mystical thought, a writer and a poet, inspired by the visions of Sri Aurobindo, Kabir and Albert Einstein.

The film is interplay of Light and Water as Integral Elements in the Womb of Creation, and how they Weave and Create a Longing for a New Birth.

Dr. Sehdev Kumar is Professor Emeritus of Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo in Canada. Historian of Science & Mystical Thought, he is author of many books including The Vision of Kabir; his latest book, 7000 Million Degrees of Freedom: One Earth, Seven Billion Worlds, is a fervent appeal for a new earth consciousness.

He currently lives in the international spiritual community of Auroville in South India, with some 3000 people from 60 countries.

Born and brought up in Punjab, in the princely state of Patiala in India, Sehdev studied at S.D.S.E. High School, and in Mohindra College in Patiala, and at Panjab University in Chandigarh and at the University of Toronto, Canada.
