Sri Aurobindo Jayanti Function

Sri Aurobindo Jayanti Function will be held on Friday 15th August 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sri Aurobindo Bhavan, Kolkata.

Jayanti Meditation will be held around the Shrine from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

Programme

9:00 AM – Homage at the Alipur Judges Court Museum.

9:30 AM – Hoisting of National Flag and Mother’s Flag by children at Bhavan.

10:00 AM – Homage at the Statue of Sri Aurobindo in front of Victoria Memorial Hall.

11:00 AM – Homage at the Shrine of Sri Aurobindo by His Excellency Dr.C.V.Ananda Bose, the Governor of West Bengal, Members of the Samiti, devotees and members of the public. Offering of songs by the students of Sakhawat Memorial Govt. Girls High School & The New Horizon High School. Announcement of Sri Aurobindo Puraskar, Release of Bhavan’s Publications and special Note Book on Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

12:30 AM – Homage at the Sri Aurobindo Corner at Metro Maidan Station.

3:00 AM – Homage at the Cell of Sri Aurobindo at the Presidency Correctional Home, Alipur by representatives of the Centres, Institutions and devotees (Entry by permission).

6:00 PM – Jayanti Function
