Bejon Desai Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, working in the field of Education since 2015. The name of our Foundation is inspired by Shri. Bejon Desai who was the principal and later Trustee of Boys’ Town Public School, Nashik for 50 years.

Since 2015, Bejon Desai Foundation is working relentlessly in two major areas: the empowerment of teachers through Integral Education, and the empowerment of school children through Skill Development. We offer basic courses in Mobile repairing, tailoring, electrical and computers. We have a dedicated state-of-the-art center for skill development and we also offer these courses on off-shore campuses of certain schools.

Bejon Desai Foundation has a formal collaboration with the Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry since 2015 to spread the word of Integral Education in Maharashtra.

The Educators’ Academy at Bejon Desai Foundation is a dedicated team of individuals who are like-minded and intrinsically motivated for a common cause, to work as ambassadors for spreading the essence of Integral Education by empowering all the stakeholders of education fraternity. We are a team of around 12 individuals including the Directors of the Foundation. The foundation aspires to conduct workshops in the future for empowering the youth.

The Educators’ Academy has been conducting both Basic Orientation workshop, Open Workshop and Institutional Workshop in Integral Education for more than 5 years, along with Anubhuti – Teach by being it, which is our flagship program in Integral Education. Anubhuti-Teach by being it is a six months teachers professional development course in Integral Education. It is conducted three days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the fourth week of every month, likewise for a total of 18 days. We have successfully completed five batches of Anubhuti course and will soon begin with our sixth batch. Till date, we have been able to reach almost 900 teachers belonging to almost 60 schools in and around Nashik, Maharashtra through our various workshops and courses.
