Madhuban, Himalayan Retreat, Sri Aurobindo Ashram

Description

Madhuban: A Place of Grace and Growth

Madhuban, located in the serene village of Talla Ramgarh, holds a rich history of devotion and service. Over 30 years ago, it was generously gifted to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram by a devoted follower, Shri Kurban Ji. This beautiful space has since evolved into a sanctuary for spiritual retreats, personal growth, and community engagement. Notably, it is the birthplace of the Beekeeping Association of India, a testament to its role in fostering sustainability and innovation.

Why Madhuban?
1. Immersion in Nature: Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the Kumaon Hills, it’s a perfect retreat for those seeking peace and inspiration.
2. Spiritual Atmosphere: With the sacred presence of Sri Aurobindo’s relics, Madhuban exudes serenity and divine grace.
3. Comfortable Facilities: Simple accommodations, wholesome meals, and a spacious meditation hall for over 100 people make it ideal for spiritual and group activities.

Madhuban nurtures all who visit, helping them rediscover themselves and move forward with clarity and positivity. It also actively engages with the local community through education, livelihood training, and youth empowerment.

Experience the peace, grace, and belonging that Madhuban offers—a place where nature, spirituality, and community come together.
