The Moscow Centre of Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo was created by a group of practitioners in 2003. Its goal is to create conditions for the practice of Integral Yoga and the dissemination of Knowledge.

Classes at the Center are held once a week on Sundays, in addition to the main course, meetings are held in small groups. All classes and transfer of practices are free of charge. The only form of payment is diligence in practice.

The first most important principle on which the work of the Center is built is the Knowledge that God lives in everyone. To give this Deity the opportunity to manifest is the main task of Yoga.

During the classes, any of those present has the opportunity to give their own interpretations of the text read, offer their own translation, contribute something for general consideration. And often such explanations or translations of texts sound truly Divine.

The second most important principle that is implemented in our group is the real practice of Yoga. We do not limit ourselves to reading books written by Sri Aurobindo and Mirra Alfassa (Mother), but also study sacred texts of different schools and directions of Yoga, conduct relevant developmental lectures, meditation practices, mantrika, energy practices and pranayama.

We believe that each of us must become something greater than he is now, elevate his Spirit, manifest the Divine Shakti in its fullness, first in the subtle body, and then in the material, physical one.
