Sri Aurobindo Center

Description

Our Centre was officially started on 15th August 2005 in our own premises at the city centre. Later, on 24th April 2015, we shifted it to our residence. We have dedicated a space on the first floor for the presence of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother.

For the past three decades, we have been conducting a prayer meeting every Sunday at 7:30 a.m. On Darshan Days, special discourses are given, and prayers are offered by the devotees.

During the difficult days of the pandemic, we organised a virtual Savitri Reading Yagna, praying for the Mother’s Grace to bless all of humankind. Devotees from all over the world took part in it. After that, we continued reading Savitri together every day at a fixed time on a virtual platform.

Every Thursday, a talk is given on the life of Sri Aurobindo as part of the 150th Birth Anniversary celebrations. Similarly, every Sunday, we conduct a session on the life of The Mother, which is presented in our local language, Kannada, so that all listeners can understand and benefit.

Through all these efforts, our Centre is sincerely working to spread the knowledge and light of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother to all humankind.
