Sri Aurobindo Society, Bhandara Centre is inspired by the vision and spiritual teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. The Centre works to bring integral growth—spiritual, educational, cultural, and social—based on the principles of inner development and collective harmony. It seeks to foster a deeper understanding of Indian culture and spirituality among the people of Bhandara district.

Regular Activities Conducted In The Centre
1. Study Circles and Reading Sessions – Weekly group readings of The Life Divine, Savitri, and The Mother’s Agenda to encourage spiritual reflection and dialogue.

2. Youth Awareness Programs – Workshops in local schools and colleges on integral education, patriotism, and character building based on Sri Aurobindo’s philosophy.

3. Meditation and Collective Sadhana – Regular meditation sessions held at the school and College for inner peace and spiritual growth.

4. Cultural Celebrations – Celebrations of Darshan Days (15 August, 24 November, 21 February, and 5 December) with talks, devotional songs, and floral offerings.

5. Book Distribution and Library Facility – Availability of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother’s literature in Hindi, Marathi, and English for free reading and subsidized purchase.

6. Social and Environmental Awareness – Tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and collaboration with schools and NGOs for community welfare.
