The SAS centre strated in 1963 as centre of SAS Puducherry then somewhere in 1975 it was registered as an independent centre. In 3rd November 1975 Relics of Sri Aurobindo was put in a lotus shaped urn by late shri Navjat ji . At present about 60 life members are associated with it. Centre organize weekly satsan,All darsan days, biannual all India Sadhana camps with lectures of eminent speakers. The centre runs a Higher secondary School.
