Ramanan is an established artist on this rare and unique instrument in the Indian classical arts. He trained under the world-renowned pioneer, Pandit Barun Kumar Pal, who played at Matagiri a number of times. He will be accompanied on Tabla by Aditya Phatak and on Ghatam (Clay Pot) by Joseph Costello.
